Well folks it seems that our updating norms have met a bit of a wall! But then again it seems our fans are becoming slacker as well. It's a shame really. We've maintained a long tradition of immediate updates. Sometimes even the same night as the gig... Oh well.
So to the meat of the last gig at After Dark. "PORNOGRAPHY" was the title and we had high hopes for crowds to turn up given that it was that rare thing, a gig at AD on a Saturday night. But the crowds seem to be getting thinner rather than thicker! Which is in itself highly disappointing. Aside from our lovely diehard fans, there was a smattering of other folk there, but it was overall an amazingly small turnout. Of course we understand that it coincided with the European Music Weekend, with a ton of free gigs to go and see all over Athens. And of course it was the World Cup... But still!
Anyway the gig was nonetheless a brilliant. We had a good time and judging by the recordings of the show we had loads of enthusiasm from our few fans there. So at least as laways it was a good show.
And of course a big huge thanks to DJ Kosta for kicking out a brilliant set. And to all the lovely loyal fans who trun out no matter what. We Love You.

NOW THOSE OF YOU WHO FOLLOW OUR PROGRESS THROUGH THE UPS AND DOWNS OF THIS LIFE WILL KNOW THAT THAT IS HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH OUR AUDIENCE, VIA PROVOCATIVE POSTERS THAT ARE MEANT TO MAKE YOU THINK!

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. WE DEEPLY REGRET THE DELAY IN POSTING OUR ACCUSTOMED AFTER SHOW REPORT. IT WAS SUCH A BLOW-YOU-AWAY AFFAIR THAT IT HAS TAKEN A WEEK TO THE DAY TO GET OUR SHIT TOGETHER AND WRITE ABOUT IT.
BUT GIVEN THE NATURE OF IT IT IS NOT SURPRISING THAT WE NEEDED TIME TO DIGEST THE WHOLE THING.
THE SHOW TOOK PLACE THE NIGHT BEFORE VISHY'S BIRTHDAY, AS THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE THERE WOULD KNOW. CASSI AND SOME OTHER NAUGHTY FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAD CONTRIVED THE MOST INCREDIBLE SURPRISE OF HIS LIFE. THEY BROUGHT OVER FROM AUSTRALIA HIS BEAUTIFUL COUSIN, NEVER MET IN THE FLESH AS IT WERE. AMAZING, EMOTIONAL FIRST MEETING IN THE REAL WORLD. INCREDIBLE.
AS IF IT WAS NOT ALREADY A STELLAR EVENT! WHAT A CORNUCOPIA THAT SHOW WAS. LOVELY AUDIENCE OF SOLID FANS AND NEW COMERS AND JUST WELL... BLOW-YOU-AWAY (as you may note for once we are really lost for words and are committing the sin of repeating ourselves! The Management ™).
SO TO THE SHOW ITSELF. FIRST UP WERE THE WONDERFUL SURPRISE GUESTS THE STYLIANOS TZIRITAS TRIO (all four of them!) WHO BLEW OUR MINDS WITH AN AMAZING SHOW-STOPPER OF A PERFORMANCE.
NEXT UP WAS BM OF COURSE AND APPARENTLY WE PLAYED A FAB SET, ONLY TO TAKE IT TO AN EVEN HIGHER LEVEL ONCE WE CAME TO THE END OF OUR SET. FIRST OFF STYLIANOS JOINED US ON STAGE FOR AN EXTENDED, BLISTER-YOUR-EARS RENDITION OF "FREAKIN'"... FOLLOWED BY THE AMAZING MOUNTAIN OF LOVE (the venerable Mr. Piers Marsh) WITH A TOTALLY NEW VERSION OF OUR OLD FAVOURITE TRACK "BEAT 'EM" (known also as Shopping to many). YES MOL HAS MADE A NEW MIX OF THE SONG WITH WHICH HE LED US ON THE STAGE, AND WHICH IN TURN LED TO AN AMAZING EXTENDED, ALMOST-TOUCHING-DUB-STYLE JAM OF THE SONG.
FOLLOWING THIS EXPLOSIVE MIX WE LEFT THE STAGE TO THE AMPLY CAPABLE HANDS OF MOL TO BLOW PEOPLE'S MINDS WITH A HALF HOUR SET OF HIS OWN SOLO MATERIAL, FOR WHICH OF COURSE EVERY ONE WAS GRATEFUL! AND BM BEING WHAT THEY ARE COULDN'T RESIST. SO WE GOT BACK ON AND JAMMED OUT ON HIS LAST TRACK WITH HIM... SOMEBODY STOP ME!!
PHEW! SO THAT WAS THE SHOW THAT WAS, CAP THAT WITH THE EMOTIONALLY CHARGED REUNION WITH VISHY'S FAMILY AND WE'RE TALKING SERIOUS STUFF GOING ON.
AS ALWAYS OUR LOVE AND THANKS AND KISSES AND HUGS GO OUT TO ALL THE WONDERFUL, UNBELIEVABLE FANS WHO YET AGAIN MADE IT WORTH WHILE. TO THE STYLIANOS TZIRITAS TRIO, TO THE MIGHTY MOUNTAIN OF LOVE... AND OF COURSE TO AFANEIS FOR HOSTING THE EVENT. LOVE AND MORE LOVE TO ALL.

HE HAS BEEN A FRIEND, A PRODUCER, AN ALLY & FELLOW PLAYER ON STAGE AND ON RECORD WITH BM. SO WE'RE VERY HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THIS LAST MINUTE ADDITION TO THE NEXT SHOW.

Well now, the new site is sure as hell beginning to take serious shape. We've introduced a whole bunch of new and beautiful new features to the site. For example the wonderful image zoom effect. This is a simple Java script that allows you to click on any image that has a larger version present and open up the large sample for better viewing. We have applied this site-wide so that all images will be accessible in this way. Go ahead try passing your mouse over different images and if the cursor gives you the finger just click the thumbnail... You'll see for yourself. The best thing is that it works with text links too... We love it.

Here is a little file for you to download and add to your site if you want to link to us with a custom image. Just right click and save the image to wherever you feel like and use it to promote the band. Nice ha?

Welcome to the all new Bad Mathematics site version 9.0. We're going to see if we can make this version fit into the new style of music that seems to be emerging as time goes on.
It's been two years since version 8 was uploaded and Vishy being a restless soul, not to mention unemployed right now felt the need to make yet another new site for the band... Yes we know why fix it if it's not broke? but that's what you get when you put a designer on bass and make him responsible for building the site...
So to business...
First item on the agenda is the upcoming gig at Afaneis with our very special guest Piers Marsh.
Piers is a musician of long experience (and an old band mate of Vishy's from his Mullahs' days in London). He has been a member of the distinguished Alabama 3, a band that has made quite a few waves over the last many years. Piers will play with us on stage at the next gig in whatever capacity he wishes. The most likely is that he will play with the band on our tracks, helping enrich our pieces. Maybe he will also perform a DJ set if the desire takes him. We look forward enormously to having him here.
